There are several items that are referred to as mini kitchens. One of these is a self contained work area that contains a sink, a stove, a mini fridge and a work area. There is also a new appliance on the market that is known as a mini kitchen. This device is a great improvement on previous compact cooking appliances.
What do you think about the mini kitchen? It is a solid, stainless steel multi functional appliance that fits on the countertop. It includes a grill, a hob, a convection oven and even a rotisserie. Some of them (the ones that actually serve as counters) even come with large storage cabinets, which are very beneficial.
When moving into smaller apartments one of the first sacrifices that become apparent is the lack of kitchen space. Gone are the opportunities to install large hobs and spacious, eye level ovens. One doesn't necessarily have to sacrifice cooking flexibility though as there are several countertop and built in mini kitchen units available that combine most features of full size installations.
